New Paintings and Painted Drawings

Now that the light is returning to the land and it's a bit warmer I've been very happy to be creating a whole new batch of artwork.  I'm working on smaller works and doing a lot of drawing and very precise, intricate work.  I'm also putting people into the scenes more.  Below are three that are finished.

This is a birthday present for Stephanie, our new-daughter (daughter-in-law).  It is actually a hanging but I didn't include the hanging rod in the photo.

"Tiny Bird"  -short title  14.25 x 16.5  acrylic with graphite and charcoal on plywood

The real title is "Once upon a time a girl stepped into the Butterfly Nebula and let the tiny bird go to fly free among the stars."
